We are pleased to announce the creation of our JUNIOR DERBY club! PBDC Junior Derby brings all the excitement, athleticism and fun of Women's Flat Track Roller Derby to girls ages 8- 18! The Pile O'Bones Junior Derby Club is an organization providing opportunities for personal growth and development of young female youth athletes in our community. By teaching the exciting sport of Jr. Roller Derby we strive to encourage teamwork, confidence, sportswomanship and fun among young women. We welcome young girls/welcome regardless of athletic ability or skating experience and strive to nourish and develop each girls innate strengths.
We teach and develop skating skills, game strategy, teamwork and sportswomanship in a supervised, competitive league structure.
We pride ourselves on being active members of our community through our volunteer and fundraising efforts. Dues are charged to help defray costs. Fundraising is conducted to ensure that all interested girls, regardless of their financial resources, are eligible to participate.

Our Core Values:

Insurance for each skater costing $45/year.
Safety gear: helmet, mouth guard, knee, elbow, wrist pads.
Skates: Quad skates, Rollerblades are not permitted.
$30/month dues for the use of facilities and resources. This amount includes Skater Membership as well as one Parent Affiliate membership in PBDC.

ALL COACHES and VOLUNTEERS have submitted a Vulnerable Sector Criminal Records Check. ALL COACHES are established trainers, enrolled in NCCP Coaching Certification.
